My eCommerce experience...

.. begun in years 1996/1998, when I envisaged the electronic shop for the software development tools we were selling in Italy. I coded it with my colleagues, being the PM of the internal project.
The original was conceived in five European languages, developed using a set of dedicated Java servlets and HTML, then enhanced with CSS and JScript. Based on Interbase database, was completed by a backoffice suite with content management, dashboard and statistics, developed mostly in Delphi.
We did a great effort in setting up the Bank gateway for credit card payments, pioneering with first Italian bank's API (Banca Sella).

After ten years of successful operations, Consist site has been ported to modern CMS environments. We tested Joomla and WooCommerce, and finally found the best tool in PrestaShop. I had many other experience working as an Account Manager, selling Retail solution with eCommerce tools or eCommerce data connections.
